If your application is refused, there is no right of appeal. However, you would need to pay a reconsideration fee for the application to be reconsidered or submit a new application. It would be important to ensure that all of the concerns raised in the refusal decision are duly addressed before applying to submit a new application. Your nationality visa fee is not refundable; however the citizenship ceremony fee will be refunded.

The Nationality rules are complex and it is always important to ensure that you check the rules in place at the date of application and get sound legal advice/representation prior to submission of your UK Citizenship application to the Home Office.
